Helping Couples, Parents & Individuals Navigate Life’s Challenges
A lot of the couples and parents I work with come in exhausted.
Not just tired, but emotionally drained from having the same conversations over and over, feeling tension in the home that never fully settles, and carrying the weight of trying to hold everything together.
Some couples tell me they feel more like roommates or coworkers than partners. Some parents feel so stretched thin they barely recognize themselves anymore. And many quietly wonder if other families are struggling like this, too.
I say that often in sessions because so many people carry shame around relationship stress, parenting challenges, anger, resentment, disconnection, and feeling stuck. It can feel incredibly isolating in the middle of it, like everyone else has figured out how to communicate, stay connected, and keep their family together, while you’re just trying to keep your head above water.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, and I work with couples, parents, and individuals navigating relationship stress, communication breakdowns, emotional overwhelm, family conflict, and generational patterns that keep repeating in relationships and parenting. I support people who are trying to repair connections, rebuild trust, and step out of cycles that leave everyone hurt and frustrated.
My approach is warm, honest, and grounded. Clients often tell me it feels easier to open up because sessions don’t feel cold, clinical, or judgmental.
I tend to use stories and real-life examples because people often understand themselves more clearly that way than through therapy language alone. I’ll often say, “I hear this same pattern a lot.” Because when you’re in it, it can feel isolating, but you’re rarely the only ones going through it.
There’s no pressure here to get it right. No perfect family standard to meet. No sitting in silence while someone stares at you over a clipboard.
Instead, I focus on what’s happening underneath the conflict, the stress, the hurt, the reactions, the unmet needs, the old wounds, and the generational cycles that quietly shape how people relate to each other. Because surface-level communication tools tend to disappear the moment emotions run high.
Together, we work toward helping you feel calmer, more connected, and more able to respond instead of reacting.
My goal isn’t to make you feel analyzed.
It’s to help you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward with a clearer sense of yourself and the people you love.
And somewhere along the way, most clients notice a bit of the weight starting to lift.
Life Outside of Therapy
Outside of therapy, I spend time in nature, and swimming is something I always come back to. I used to be part of Egypt’s national swimming team, and that experience shaped a lot of who I am—discipline, resilience, and learning how to keep going through different seasons of life. Even now, swimming is still where I slow down, reset, and recharge.
My Christian faith is part of my foundation and shapes how I show up with others: grounded, compassionate, and present.
I’m naturally drawn to learning and growth, and I make space for it in different ways, both personally and professionally. I also enjoy hands-on, creative moments in everyday life. Cooking is one of those simple joys for me, especially preparing healthy meals and sharing them with others.

I work with adults and young adults who tend to think deeply about themselves and their lives, but still find themselves feeling stuck. You might be dealing with anxiety, overthinking, shame, anger, relationship or family difficulties, a change in your life, or questions about who you are and what you want your life to mean.
You may already have a good understanding of yourself. You may know where some of your difficulties come from, and yet find yourself having the same reactions, getting caught in the same thoughts, or ending up in familiar situations. Knowing something about yourself and being able to change it are not always the same thing.
I am interested in the words we use to make sense of ourselves. We grow up hearing ideas about what it means to be successful, good, strong, difficult, selfish, worthy, or enough. Over time, some of these ideas become so familiar that we stop questioning them. My work draws from existential, psychoanalytic, narrative, and solution focused therapy, with a particular interest in philosophy and language. I like to slow things down and get curious about what you mean when you say things like “I should,” “I can’t,” “I’m a failure,” or “this is just who I am.”
There is no need to arrive at therapy with a clear explanation of what is wrong. You can come with a question, a feeling you cannot quite name, a relationship that has become difficult, or simply the sense that something is not sitting right with you. I will not pretend that every problem has a simple answer. Sometimes therapy is about finding an answer. Sometimes it is about asking a better question.
Above all, I want therapy to be a place where you can be honest without having to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have yourself figured out.
We can start there.
